Cookie Policy

Information collected in connection with website use

Gergely Medical Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, (registered office: 2030 Érd, Aggteleki utca 23, company registration number: 13-09-232227) as the operator of the website accessible under the domain name https://drgergelyrobert.hu/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Controller“) publishes within this policy information regarding data processing carried out during use of the website.

The person visiting the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Subject“) may access this policy without restriction at the Data Controller’s registered office and on the Data Controller’s website.

Information collected in connection with website use

During and as a result of using the website, the Data Subject does not provide data or information about themselves, and therefore the Data Controller does not collect or process any personal data relating to the Data Subject in a manner that would enable the Data Subject to be identified at a later time.

During a visit to the website and as a result of clicking the “Accept” button, the Data Subject consents to the Data Controller recording the data and information specified in this policy and placing the cookies necessary for recording on the website.

Such data includes data from the Data Subject’s computer that is generated during the visit to the website and that the Data Controller’s system records as an automated result of technical processes. The data recorded in this way is automatically logged by the system—without any separate statement or action by the Data Subject—simultaneously with the fact of visiting the website or in connection with leaving the website.

This data is not linked to other personal user data, and as a result the Data Subject cannot be identified on the basis of this data. Only the Data Controller has access to such data. Such data may be collected using various technologies, such as cookies, web beacons, and log files.

Information contained in such data:

  • Cookies: Cookies are files that store information on the Data Subject’s hard drive or web browser, if the Data Subject consents to this. This is a so-called information package created by the website when it is opened, thereby storing information about the website’s settings. When the Data Subject next visits the site, certain preferences related to the website’s operation are set based on the cookie.
  • Log files: The internet browser also automatically transmits certain additional data to the website, such as the IP address of the Data Subject’s computer, the type of operating system and browser program they use, the domain name from which the Data Subject visited the website, as well as the subpages visited by the user within the website and the content viewed on the website.

The Data Controller, like most internet service providers, analyzes this data so that it can be determined, for example, which areas of the website are more popular than others. Based on this, it also strives to shape the website experience according to the needs of its users.

I. Types, purpose, and use of cookies

Several types of cookies are in use on our website. These are so-called “session cookies” and “persistent cookies” (including personalized cookies). Temporary, or session cookies, remain on the Data Subject’s device until they leave the website, while persistent cookies remain on the device for a longer period, or until the Data Subject manually removes them, depending on the Data Subject’s web browser settings.

1. Essential session cookies

These cookies are an indispensable part of the operation of the website’s key functions and access to protected content. These cookies do not collect information about the Data Subject that could be used to identify the Data Subject or even to use in connection with them for marketing purposes; they do not remember which other websites the Data Subject has visited. After closing the website, the cookies are automatically deleted and, as their name suggests, the session is closed.

If the Data Subject does not accept these cookies, then the website, or certain parts of it, may not display correctly or may display incorrectly, potentially making proper use of the website impossible.

2. Analytical cookies

These cookies enable the website’s visitors to be distinguished and counted; with their help we gain a better picture of how individual users use our website, for example which subpages they visit most frequently and whether they receive any error messages from the website for any reason. All of this contributes to our ability to continuously improve the operation of our website to enhance the user experience. These cookies also do not collect information about the Data Subject that can be used for identification; the data is stored in aggregate and anonymously, and we use it only to improve the operation of the website.

2.1 Google Analytics

Through Google Analytics, we collect precise information about how the website’s visitors use the site. This is necessary to ensure that the site meets the needs expected by visitors and to gain ideas about how to make the visit even more attractive.

Google Analytics collects data about which pages the Data Subject visits, how long they stay there, how they got there, and what they click on. Since we also do not collect or store the Data Subject’s name or address in this context, this data is also not suitable for identifying the Data Subject. Importantly, we do not allow Google to use this for its own purposes or to share it with third parties.

3. Third-party cookies

On our website, we occasionally use external web services to display various content. This may result in the appearance of some cookies that are not under our control, and consequently we have no influence over what data these websites or external domains collect about how the Data Subject uses these embedded content.

If you would like to know exactly how third parties use cookies, please refer to these services’ own privacy and cookie policies.

4. Cookie acceptance cookie

This cookie is saved on the website and stored in a separate cookie on the Data Subject’s device, indicating that the Data Subject has already accepted the website’s cookie usage rules, and thus remembers this going forward.

5. Desktop view/mobile view cookie

This cookie is saved on the website and stored in a cookie on the Data Subject’s device, indicating which view the Data Subject prefers. On their next visit, this view will automatically load.

II. Methods of managing cookies

Browser settings: The Data Subject can set their own web browser to accept all cookies, or conversely reject all of them, or perhaps notify them when a cookie arrives on their computer. Setting options are generally found in the “Options” or “Settings” menu of the browser. Each web browser is different, so please use the “Help” menu of your preferred browser for the appropriate settings.

Our website does not exchange cookies with third-party operated websites or external data providers.

Disabling cookies: If the Data Subject does not wish the website to collect the information described above in connection with website use, they can completely disable the use of cookies in their internet browser settings, as mentioned above.

However, it should be noted that this website, like many websites, is designed to operate using cookies, so their partial or complete disabling may affect the usability of the website and, consequently, the user experience. It may prevent interactive communication between the website and the user, and thus prevent the Data Subject from taking advantage of all possible features of the website. In this case, the website may function differently in your browser than intended.

Disabling anonymous Google Analytics cookies: To disable such cookies, the Data Subject can install a so-called “Google Analytics plug-in” or add-on in their browser, which prevents the website from sending information about you to Google Analytics.
